I had so much fun with this card, I used my cricut, a new stamp, my computer, my new Studio Acrylic Paints, my new I am Roses neutral rose buds, and a cute, cute stamp from A Day of Daisies.  It has been sooooo cold here, I decided to concentrate on a warmer thought, like spring.  I love this little fairy, and she is so tiny compared to the cherries she is leaning on, that I decided to gound her on a tree branch.  I hope you enjoy.

Walking, well Rolling, in a Winter Wonderland

I just had a blast creating this, after I got the Imagine Calibrated properly.  Calibration is really a frustrating experience for me, especially when I forget the you don't go to a higher number to increase when you are in the negative numbers.  Yes! I did that, and could not for the life of me figure out why it kepts getting worse instead of better.  Reread the directions multiple times.  Decided to take a nap, and after the nap it dawned on me what was going on, and we fixed it, as you can see. LOL  I just love these snowmen, and have used them a lot.  This whole design is from the Snow Angel Cricut Imagine Cartridge, including the card background.  Hope you enjoy.

Valentine for Hubbis

This is one of those cards that ya couldn't get enough on, and then all of a sudden it was almost too much.  I decided to stop here.  I had an amazingly bad experience with my red spray glitter.  :(  I broke the bottle sprayer, and I really wanted to use it here.  I ended up using some gold that was OK, but not what I really wanted to use.  Anyway, I'm giving this to my Hubby for V day.  However, I wanted to use it in  a couple of challenges.

Recipe:

Stamp: Outlines Rubber Stamps, Digital Greeting: Neumann Studio, Flowers: Petaloo & Hobby Lobby spray, Lace: Paper Studio.  Glimmer Mist gives us the shiny, Spellbinders gives us the circle sentiment shapes.

Punk's House

This is three digis from Make It Crafty, that I layered using Photoshop.  The paper background is a digi paper that I picked up from Stitchy Bear.  I made the label in Photoshop and cut the background label with my Spellbinders die.

Medallion Flower

I used a digital image and made a layered flower from it.  I just love the way this turned out.  I used Copic to color it.  Such a lovely image.

A Ragamuffin Valentine

I love grunge and steampunk art, and this little Ragamuffin from Saturated Canary just fits nicely into my particular style.  I used tim holtz gears and film strip as part of this card, along with Maya Road flowers.  I used some Lindy Stamp Gang spray glitter, but painted it with a brush.  I used a background paper from Stampin' UP I think.  The card base is Gina K layer weight. That about does it.

Bleached Snowman

This guy had some surprises in store for me.  I thought that Ranger's Archival Ink was similar to Stazon.  It isn't.  When I hit it with the bleach it faded.  OOOOOhh!  I agonized over how it was going to look, and surprisingly enough I actually like how it turned brown and gives the whole scene a more washed out, sunny feel.  The shadowed area stays black and gives good contrast to the scene.  The blue paper I used wasn't the best, so the bleach wicked into areas that it wasn't supposed to, but overall it is hard to tell.  I had to cut the border of, as that really showed badly, but the rest is acceptable to me.  The white sure came up in this.  Wish the bleach worked half that well on my hubbies grass stained socks.

Scenic Snow

I am excited that I found a challenge that is all about scenic stamping.  This is a Northwood stamp, but I by far love the Stampscape Stamps, that have been used in abundance on the challenge, much better for development of scene.  I would have linked the Northwood site, but it must be down, as I can't get on it.  I made this for a class, and just love the way it turned out.  It's nice and shiny.

Recipe: Tombow markers, Stardust Holographic Glitter, Flowersoft White Snow, Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.

I would have used Stampscapes, but they are packed on on their way to my new studio, in my new house.  I can't wait to get settled in and unpacked.

Dream Plain & Simple

This turned out better than I expected.  I love the Ginko Tree, and the script Dream sentiment from Club Scrap just fits that bill for so many of the challenges this week.  The all paper is from GinaK, don't you just love her papers.  I wish she did 12 x 12 for scrapbooking.  Ah well.  My wishlist is soooo long.

Kitty's Catastrophic Ride

I just could not resist this stamp.  She is such a hoot.  I used a Kitty type variation of a quote about catastrophe on the road, and attributed it to Kitty Katastrophe, which is the name of the stamp.  I used some downloaded paper from ScrapBooks Etc. which are free, but just was what the doctor ordered for this card, and the challenges I have in mind for her.  I used Copics to color her, and the rest is digital work from Photoshop.

Ballet Dancer-Dance for Yourself

Had lots of fun with this freebie from Outlawz.  I love snow globes, and ballet is just a favorite of mine.  I made the flowers with my Cricut Close to My Heart Art Philosophy and Big Shot Tim Holtz Tattered Florals Die.  The border punch is Martha stewart, the leaves are Outlines Rubber Stamps.  The corner decoration is from a really old Cuttlebug set.  Used Spellbiners circles for the sentiment and background.  The butterflies are waste from another Spellbinders die.  Not sure whose paper this is, it was a scrap I found, as is the mulberry paper.
Woot, woot, I got on the catwalk at the Fashionable Stamping Challenge.  This is the art that got me there CLICK  It is one of my favorite pieces ever.  Love Steampunk everything.

Winter Blues Warm Up

This is one of those cards that will fit in many of my favorite challenges.  I used my Cricut Imagine for the cup of cocoa and sentiment from my new Winter Frolic Cartridge, my copics for the girl with the cocoa which is from Spesch Designer Stamps, used my Cuttlebug to cut Spellbinder and Cheery Lynn die cuts.

I even got my own designer paper in the leaves of the flowers.  It's hard to find a blue-blue green that will work with blue theme, but I think all the blue in this card makes this blue green look real green by comparison.  I used the back side of some repurposed cardstock to print this new colored paper.

This card was great fun to put together, I hope you enjoy.
